Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all paid Dioschub subscriptions purchased through Paddle. It forms part of the Dioschub Terms of Service and should be read alongside that document.

Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all Dioschub transactions. This means Paddle collects your payment, issues your invoice, and processes refunds directly to your original payment method — Intrigsoft does not handle payment card data or refund transactions. When a refund is approved, Paddle processes it automatically and notifies Intrigsoft’s licence server via a webhook, which deactivates the associated Licence Key.

The Free Tier of Dioschub is provided at no charge. No refund policy applies to the Free Tier as no payment is taken.

2. The 14-Day Refund Window

You are entitled to a full refund of any Dioschub subscription charge if you request it within fourteen (14) calendar days of the charge date. This applies to:

  • Your first subscription payment when you purchase a new plan; and
  • Each monthly renewal charge.

The 14-day window begins on the date the charge is processed by Paddle, as shown on your Paddle invoice. Requests received after the 14-day window has closed will not be eligible for a refund except where required by applicable law.

Example

Your subscription renews on the 10th of each month. A renewal charge is processed on 10 June. You have until 24 June to request a refund of that charge. If you request on 25 June, the window has closed and the charge is non-refundable.

3. How to Request a Refund

Refunds are handled directly through Paddle. The primary way to request a refund is through the Paddle customer portal, which you can access from any invoice email or at checkout.paddle.com. Paddle will process approved refunds directly to your original payment method — no action is required from Intrigsoft for standard refund requests.

Once Paddle processes the refund, Intrigsoft’s licence server is notified automatically and your Licence Key will be deactivated.

If you are unable to locate the Paddle customer portal or have a billing question that Paddle cannot resolve, you can contact us at billing@intrigsoft.com with:

  • The email address associated with your Dioschub subscription; and
  • Your Paddle order or invoice reference number.

Refunds approved via Paddle typically appear within five (5) to ten (10) business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The 14-day refund window for the charge in question has passed.
  • The subscription has been suspended or terminated by Intrigsoft due to a breach of the Terms of Service or EULA.
  • A chargeback has been filed with your bank or card issuer for the charge without first contacting us. Filing a chargeback without prior contact may result in immediate suspension of your subscription and may affect your ability to purchase a Dioschub subscription in the future.
  • The refund request relates to charges from third-party services you have connected to Dioschub, such as LLM provider API costs. These are billed directly by those providers and are outside our control.

6. Cancellation vs. Refund

A cancellation and a refund are separate actions:

  • Cancellation stops future renewals. Your subscription and Licence Key remain active until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund of the current period’s charge.
  • A refund returns the charge already made. If you cancel and also want a refund of the current period’s charge, you must submit a separate refund request within the 14-day window.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period with no further charges.

7. Plan Changes

Dioschub is available in the following tiers:

  • Free — no charge, core features, no Licence Key required.
  • Pro — monthly subscription via Paddle, full feature set, Licence Key issued via customer portal.
  • Enterprise — handled outside Paddle under a separate commercial agreement. This Refund Policy does not apply to Enterprise arrangements; refund and cancellation terms are governed by the individual contract.

If you upgrade from Free to Pro, your first charge is subject to the standard 14-day refund window from the date of that charge.

There are currently no mid-cycle pro-rata adjustments for plan changes. Any plan change takes effect at the next billing cycle.

8. Your Statutory Rights

This Policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation. Where mandatory local law provides for refund rights that are more generous than this Policy, those rights will apply. In particular, customers in the European Union benefit from a 14-day statutory withdrawal right under the Consumer Rights Directive, which aligns with our 14-day window.

As Paddle is the Merchant of Record, Paddle manages compliance with consumer protection obligations in the jurisdictions where it operates on our behalf. If you have a statutory complaint that this Policy does not address, Paddle’s customer support can also assist.

9. Changes to This Policy

Intrigsoft may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on our website with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Charges already processed prior to a policy change are governed by the Policy in effect at the time of that charge.
